Bring the family to Vennalyst Park (9100 N 31st Street) for the annual Scottish Rite family picnic. Enjoy freshly grilled burgers and brats, sides, and make s'mores while enjoying a relaxing evening. There will be a bouncy house for the kids and raffle prizes for kids and adults.

The Scottish Rite family picnic is on Sunday, August 12th at Vennalyst Park (9100 N 31st Street), beginning at 4:00 pm. Open to all Scottish Rite Masons and their families. 

Reservations are $5/person. Please make your reservation in advance to guarantee enough food is prepared for everyone.

Nebraska 33° Banquet

Nebraska's 33° Scottish Rite Masons are invited to the 2nd Inspectors General banquet. Thirty-Third Degree Scottish Rite Masons - less than 200 in the state - have achieved the highest honor in Scottish Rite Freemasonry.

This banquet is an opportunity to congratulate our 2017 33° Masons and celebrate our membership in Nebraska's best fraternal organization. Enjoy a catered dinner at Lincoln's famed Nebraska Club with remarks from Ill. Charles V. Sederstrom, Jr., 33°, Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Nebraska.

The agenda will be a 6 pm social hour (cash bar), 7 pm dinner and dessert, followed by remarks from Charles V. Sederstrom, Jr., 33°. The menu is your choice of 6 oz filet mignon or 8 oz boneless breast chicken with Tuscan roasted tomatoes, and Chef's vegetables, roll, house salad, coffee, tea, and a chocolate layer cake with mocha cream. The cost is $75/person, and the banquet is only open to 33° Scottish Rite Masons and their ladies. Reservations may be made online below, or by calling the Scottish Rite office in Omaha at (402) 342-1300 for reservations.

Scottish Rite Fall Reunion

All Master Masons are welcome to join the Scottish Rite in the Fall Reunion. The Scottish Rite offers additional opportunities for leadership, brotherhood, activities and events, as well as further light in Masonry.

Petitions are available at the Scottish Rite office or from any Scottish Rite officer. The cost to petition the Scottish Rite is $250, which includes 2018 dues, the Master Craftsman program, a DVD about the RiteCare Speech and Language Clinics, a subscription to the Scottish Rite Journal, and a unique brotherhood with 290,000 Scottish Rite Masons in the United States. The Reunion begins on Thursday, November 2, 2018 at 6:00 for registration, social time, pizza, and several degrees. We resume on Friday, November 3, 2018 at 5:30 for dinner, followed by several degrees. On Saturday, November 4, the class convenes at 6:45 a.m. for breakfast served by the Knights of St. Andrew, and continues with degrees until about 5 pm.

WalkRite for RiteCare

WalkRite for RiteCare is an annual family friendly fun-walk, raising money for the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute's RiteCare Speech & Language Clinic. Come out to Lake Zorinsky for a 10:30 walk on Saturday, June 23rd, meet characters from Star Wars, and enjoy hamburgers and hotdogs prepared by the Culinary Masters. Walk as far (or as little) as you like!

All donations are tax-deductible. There is no fee to walk, but for each $100 raised or donated, participants receive a WalkRite t-shirt. For $250, participants receive a WalkRite t-shirt and water bottle. For $500, receive a WalkRite t-shirt, water bottle, and tote bag. (While supplies last).
