Celebrating the 10th Friends of Scottish Rite Dinner and Auction, the Scottish Rite Foundation of Omaha had its best year ever for the annual event. This year, the Friends Dinner was held on Friday, October 13th, welcoming a record number of guests – nearly 250 guests filled the Scottish Rite ballroom at 20th and Douglas Streets. Guests enjoyed a hosted wine tasting and fine Scotch tasting, bid on extraordinary silent and live auction items, including a photograph signed by Apollo XI astronauts, vacation packages, fine art, and several beautiful handmade quilts. . .
Each September, the Omaha Valley Scottish Rite makes special presentations, recognizing our 50-Year members and our UNO scholarship recipients. This year, nearly 100 Scottish Rite Masons and their ladies gathered to make the presentations, after enjoying a wonderful dinner of homemade lasagna, breadsticks and salad made by our Culinary Masters. . .

The Valley of Omaha Scottish Rite just finished the 266th Reunion, named in honor of Jerome Given 33°, whom we lost in 2015. 15 Candidates became 32° Prince of the Royal Secret in a 3-day Reunion on April 27, 28, and 29th. . .

The Knights of St. Andrew was formed in the Valley of Omaha in 2001 to engage 32° "Black Hat" Scottish Rite Masons. The Knights of St. Andrew welcomed three new members at a knighting ceremony on Saturday, February 11th. . .
The Scottish Rite began working with Womens Edition magazine as a way to promote rentals and upcoming events. Womens Edition helps the Scottish Rite reach a target demographic that often directs families' philanthropies and helps decide family rentals for weddings or events. The Scottish Rite Masonic Center played host to the Scottish Society of Nebraska's annual Robert Burns Dinner, celebrating the national poet of Scotland.
