The Friends of Scottish Rite Dinner and Auction continues to grow, serving as one of the Valley of Omaha’s major fundraisers of the year. This year, the Friends Dinner was held on Friday, October 19th, welcoming 222 guests. Dinner guests enjoyed a hosted wine tasting and fine Scotch tasting, bid on extraordinary silent and live auction items, including tickets to the award-winning musical Hamilton in Chicago, a Tennessee whiskey tour, jewelry, quilts, a custom-made Nebraska Cornhuskers firepit and Huskers soda machine, and numerous items and baskets. . . .

10th annual WalkRite for RiteCare a Great Success!
The 10th annual WalkRite for RiteCare was a wonderful success on June 23rd at Lake Zorinsky’s Picnic Pavilion. The weather was a perfect 79°, as we welcomed 150 RiteCare families, the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute staff and faculty, and Scottish Rite Masons and their families to Lake Zorinsky’s picnic pavilion for the Walk. . .

21st annual RiteCare Classic a Great Day for Golf for a Great Cause
Twenty years ago, the Scottish Rite golf outing began as a fun event for members, with extra money going to RiteCare. Over the years, the annual golf benefit became one of the Scottish Rite signature events supporting the RiteCare Speech and Language Clinic. This year, the RiteCare Classic, held on June 13st at Pacific Springs Golf Club, grossed over $16,000 for speech and language services. . .

Moving at the speed of Masonry is often a by-word for moving slower than molasses in winter. But sometimes when you blink, you miss momentous events in Freemasonry. The March business meeting was certainly one of those evenings.
