Rick is active in the Scottish Rite, serving as Chairman of the RiteCare Classic Golf Committee. He is an Assistant Class President at Reunions, and serves as Degree Director for the 31st Degree.

Rick Gilmore is a lifelong Omahan. He graduated from Westside High School and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a BS in Construction Management. His career has primarily been in commercial construction in the Omaha area, with roles in estimating, project management and program management for many sizes and types of projects. Professional groups have included the Associated General Contractors, the Construction Management Association of America, and the American Society of Professional Estimators. He recently completed ten years coordinating utility relocations for railroad projects and is currently consulting on those projects for a national engineering firm.
Rick is married to Christine, with two sons and one grandson. He has been active on boards at his church, the Omaha Home for Boys, Little League baseball and Cub Scouts. He enjoys golf and spending time with family and friends.
Masonic Background
Rick was raised a Master Mason in George W. Lininger Lodge No. 268 in 1980, serving as Master of the Lodge in 1986 and 1996. He joined the Scottish Rite in 1981, serving as Venerable Master of the Omaha Consistory in 2001.
He was invested as a Knight Commander of the Court of Honor in 2001 and coroneted an Inspector General Honorary in 2013. He previously served on the Scottish Rite Foundation of Omaha and has served on the Cathedral Committee Board of Trustees since 2021. He is also a member of Tangier Shrine and the Royal Order of Scotland.
