CARL F. SIMMONS, 32°

Carl Simmons was born in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. He was raised in Germany, moving to the Azores, and Oklahoma before moving to Omaha. He graduated from Bellevue East HS. He attended the United States Military Academy and graduated in 1982 with a BS of Engineering degree specializing in Nuclear Physics. He served over 5 years in the US Army as an Armored Cavalry officer before pursuing a 32 year career with OPPD. There he was a Licensing Engineer,  Maintence Supervisor, and Emergency Planning Supervisor at the Fort Calhoun nuclear plant. He then was promoted Manager, Facilities Management in 2010 and retired in 2019. 

Carl is married to his wonderful wife Erin. They have 8 children and 13 grandchildren between them.  When not busy with family and his Masonic passions, Carl enjoys international travel, homebrewing and watching the Bayern Muenchen and the German international Fussball teams.


MASONIC BIOGRAPHY

 Carl was raised a Master Mason in Albert Pike Lodge #333 and served as Worshipful Master in 2021.  Carl continues to be active at Albert Pike Lodge #333, serving as Senior Deacon and giving Masonic education each month.

Carl joined the Scottish Rite in 2015, and has been active as a line officer, served as Venerable Master for the Knights of St. Andrew in 2021, and enjoys Degree work at Reunions. He is also active in the Tangier Shrine Provost Unit and York Rite.
